Alvaro Posadas

Alvaro Posadas, a Barcelona-based visual artist, began his creative journey with a solid academic foundation in Art History from Salamanca University (USAL) and a Master's Degree in Electronic Arts from ESDI. After experimenting with visual motion in the early 2000s, he transitioned into postproduction, collaborating with various advertisement production companies and fully immersing himself in the CANADA production company since 2011.

A significant turning point in Posadas' career occurred in 2022 when he discovered AI, integrating it into his practice. His focus revolves around exploring surrealism and distortion using AI tools, creating enigmatic visual scenes that capture the intricacies of an illogical reality.

Posadas' creative process involves generating text-prompted images that culminate in an animated final piece and crafts a harmonious soundscape to complement it, considering the emotional resonance of the visuals. This provides viewers with a sensory experience that invites them into an immersive world of creative exploration.
